Question D-Link DI-624 Wireless Router Problem

The other day I was trying to upgrade my routers security. So I tried to log into the settings menu but I'd forgotten the username and password so I pressed the reset button on my router and then went into the settings menu and setup my wireless network again. After I finished doing that I decided that I would upgrade my firmware. So I downloaded the firmware update and started updating. After it had started it looked like it wasn't doing anything ( This wasn't the best idea , I also didn't think before I did it but I click out of the upgrade ) and after that I couldn't use my router anymore. All that happens now is their are 8 lights on my router the power light is on the status light flashes then WAN light stays on and the |_____ Local Network ______| part the number 1 light stays on. I was wondering if their would be anyway I could recover my router. Also if this helps the status light just keeps flashing. Any help is appreciated

Thanks, but I have a DI-624 not a DI-624M. Also if this helps the status light just keeps on flashing.

Ok, did you make a backup before you upgraded? No?
try and find the firmware you had before, or try looking for one that actually is compatible, 'cos to me it looks like you used some wrong firmware.

What happened was it started upgrading but it didn't look like it was doing anything so I clicked out (It obviously wasn't the best thing to do) and I still have the firmware I was upgrading with.
