Its like this, i have a legit copy of microsoft office 2003 installed and activated for a while. And my computer had a serious infection of spywares recently so i had to re-format my computer. After the recovery, i tried to install and activate my microsoft office. But it kept saying that my cd-key is invalid, i tried multiple re-installation but to no avail. I am very sure that i typed the cd-key correctly and i have never lent my copy of microsoft office to anyone.
I spent a large amount of money on this legit copy and i can only get to install and activate once? I'm really disappointed and would really appreciate any help..

hmm, i have a ligit copy as well, did it come with the computer or did u buy it. If u bought it off the shelfs, i think it lets u install THREE copies, which means on three computer, u should be able to activate it unlimited times on one of the computers that has already had it activated once, as i have had to do that many times, due to formatting. Did u change n e hardware on the computer recently? it may think it is installed on a new computer or sumtin and u may already be over ur three computer install limit.

I bought it off the shelves. I had a new dvd writer installed before i re-formatted. Here's a pic of the error..

It's a pity, i paid so much for a legit copy and i get to activate it for once

Or ehh....... "buy" another key.

Yep call MS and tell to them what happened they will help you out...

Hey thanks a lot guys , after calling MS they managed to activate my copy through phone.

They only asked for my installation id which appears on the activation menu. They didn't even ask for my CD-key or anything to prove my purchase, i guess anyone without a legit copy would be able to obtain a full version via this method ??
