Speed, Range, Reputation.
one word: Netgear
Either Netgear or Belkin would be my choices. My Netgear works perfect, although the range isn't superb (on my model, which is quite old now) the connection is great.
Is belkin good?
I have one and I have the feeling it sucks balls. Is this correct?
Nobody likes linksys?
i have a linksys one and it works great
I have a linksys wireless adapter WUSB54GS, amazing range pick up, it picks up my neighbours which is down the road, and I have a linksys router but coudl never use it, i probably could now but don't want to. But the adapter is great.
Anyone got a Wireless Router with 802.11n?
And I would go with either Netgear or D-Link.
That would be impossible considering that 802.11n hasn't even been finalized
Sure there may be some pre-n routers but its best to wait.
Well I've got an n-draft router
Can someone tell me if belkin sucks please?
I had a Belkin for... 2 hours, I sent it back!
I had belkin it wasent that bad some routers from them are great...
I have a dlink and it works OK so if you feel like it get that..
Buffalo and DD WRT ftw.
Buffalo routers have great range and stability. The DD WRT firmware gives you countless numbers of features which aren't availible with most routers such as QoS (allows you to make certain protocols faster than others e.g. automatically limit torrent speed while on xboxlive).
A full list of features is here: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php...RT%3F#Features
The router this firmware works best with is the Buffalo WHR-HP-G54
I've heared good things from Buffalo routers.
Whenever I sign on on msn, my internet connection stops.. like for everything but msn. Is this to do with the router or something else?
