Default help putting mkv's on dvds

i only need 1 language and no subtitles. but i cant find anything to convert it easily. all of the programs which claim to do this... dont. they dont work, it kills me. i googled the crap out of it but found no straight forward answer. i was hoping someone here has done this personally and can give me instructions.

If will work you just need to rename the mkv to .mpg...I dont have any mkv with me right now so I cant really test if dvd flick support mkv without a rename out of the box..There feathers pages says it not support...But is does support MPEG..

It clearly says Matroska is a supported container. I imported one successfully but I never tried to burn one.

it kind of worked, the audio kicks in too early though, so everything is hapening then the voices come over a second or two later. i think i might be able to fix it though.

i couldnt get the audio and video to synch up when i create the iso. its too far of a gap to even be watchable. maybe theres a program to convert it to avi, that works better or something.

For the most part... it has issues with importing embedded subs. You have to manually extract them from the mkv and add them manually into the project. But this isn't an issue here so for what you're doing it should be no problem.

You can use the preview feature to see if the audio/video syncs properly. If not you can adjust the delay in the Audio menu.

are you talking about dvd flick or xvid4psp?
-= Double Post =-
i think xvid will work! if it does ill be so happy.

it tells me that the video or audio is unsupported. but it does detect the MKV, just the files inside are unsupported.

i found a program called convertxtodvd. it works perfectly, i had to ignore the log at the bottom though because it said error every second or two (the video i had had a very odd framerate so it was dupelicating frames, and error was the only thing it could come up with i suppose, but it worked without a hitch, it even supports duel audio (but i deleted the second audio track to save space).
