Most disc burning software worth its salt will verify that the data was written properly. Nero, ImgBurn, etc.

most likely the program u are using will do it too, u probably just dont have the option checked to do so, look at your basic settings and see if u can verify disk after the burn

ive got it checked
ive also used alot of different software to burn with over the years
it always verifies the data
always says that its fine
and i still get corrupted data sometimes
its not a persistent problem
just common enough to piss me off
i was lookin for a i guess you could call it third party prog
that can check what the software has already checked
just to make double sure
im using vso's copytodvd and ive also used nero among other buring software

Burn at a slower speed to prevent the data from getting corrupted in the first place.

or keep the data as an iso, and mount it on a virtual drive to skip the burning problem altogether

And you would do that why?
Then just keep in on your HDD without the ISO.

Nero has its own verify data option within. Check it while you burn the Media. This would check the burnt data for any anomaly.

i always burn at the slowest speed
i always iso the files just because its as good as caching the files and helps me organize backups and check file sizes
i never use nero, vso is so much better
i use memorex also
or sony if i can afford it
and i always use verify data

like i said before, its not a persistant problem, i just cant help but to run to much at the same time for my comp to keep up with
i was just curious if there was software out there that verifies data
i know there is svf, does that work like that?
i see those in torrents alot
not sure what its for though
just installed the prog because i dont like having file extenstions that dont have associations
im lame i know

one thing i will say though, like i havent said enough already, you guys are surely makin me feel good since all the advice youve given me im already doin
