whats the largest capacity you have seen (asking for use w/ ps3 if it matters)

the biggest ive seen is 250gb

I'm certain I've seen 500GB before but I just searched all my favourite PC sites and could only find 250GB.

if you are going to use this hdd for a ps3 then you do not need a notebook drive, you will need a 3.5" drive.

The PS3 takes 2.5" (notebook) SATA drives.

cool. anyone know what type of hdd the 360 uses? is it proprietary?

Wouldn't know, it wouldn't suprise me if it's some ridiculous custom-made HDD, I doubt you can even change the 360 HDD.

are you talking about for the 360? i don't actually plan on buying one, I was just wandering if MS was going proprietary or not. is MS even allowing 3rd parties to make 360 hdd's?
