Well I payed like £30 for this headset, the microphone still works but I hear nothing through the headphones, it's not the computer socket because it still mutes the monitor speakers when plugged in, I did sort of yank them out and then it started, the volume controls arent muted, but there isn't any damage to the wires etc, if I can't find a problem, can someone find me some decent wireless headphones?

Maybe you broke the wire internaly under the rubber (k that sounded wrong).
Maybe try another headphone and see if that works.
If that one does.
I can only point and laugh.
