Ok, so Im thinking of buying a laptop, and its the HP6715b laptop. The reason being is coz its not too expensive, will do what i want it to do, and the battery life is good(from what Ive heard). Should I buy it?? Is it worth buying?? Anyone have this particular laptop?? Just need some pointers. BTW, I dunno if Im even putting this into the correct forum, so if not, sorry.

i waqnt it to play some games less graphics intensive ones, play music and video, and wifi access to the interwebs

Then that laptop will work just fine for you. Just don't expect it to be a speed demon or anything.

I dont need it to be s speed demon, and if I wanted that, all Id have ta do is upgrade it, lol

you can't really upgrade most laptop cpus because the chasis are crazy tight and not accessible. get 512 ram and buy another 512 stick. also get a 2.0 ghz cpu or games won't work well. AND NO VISTA! NONE!

Wow, Vista isn't that bad. If the laptop is what you need and has Vista, get it. If you don't like Vista and the laptop is what you need, buy it and install Vista.

you are right, obviously it has to be of retail quality but vista is very power hungry and to run it well you need a strong computer. I like xp because it doesn't need all of the ram and cpu vista wants. If you go vista there will be some improvements but gaming and overall speed will not be as fast as on xp.
