Default Computer Output to TV

So, I'm looking for a VGA to S-Video/Composite/Component adapter. I've been looking at this one.

But, some sites say that my video card needs to be compatible. Well, why does it? Instead of outputting to a monitor, it's going through an adapter, into a TV. I don't see how the video card needs a different function to do this. (I just have integrated video.) Anyway, will this work with the integrated video?

That doesn't output video to your TV :/ What TV do you have? An old CRT? If so then your video card should have an s-video cable and you can use a simple s-video cable. I've never seen or heard of VGA-S-video cables

No, I have a fairly new LCD TV. And I think I might have got something confused. Let me make it simpler. How can I use the VGA output slot on my motherboard, to output to a TV? (The TV supports, Component, Composite, and S-Video.)

The cable you posted should do the job.

Here what you need to do;
Drop the resolution of the PC down the about 800x600.
Just turn both the TV and pc off.
Attach the VGA to the pc and other connection to the TV.
Turn the PC and TV on.
Go to the relevant channel on the TV.
Set the resolution to the TV's native resolution (or which ever one you want).

The whole thing should take about 10 minutes max.
If you run into any trouble post back.

Well, I found out that my grandma's TV has a HDMI port. And since I just happen to have a VGA to HDMI converter, I traded TVs with her. (Mines, the same size, but wide screen, so she made out on the deal.) Anyway, now I have my Wii and PC hooked up to the TV. Now I just need to get an audio converter, so I can hook the PC sound to the TV.
