Default Help with Vista/XP Dual Boot Partition

So I have a PSP and was using 3.90 officical. I wanted cfw so i ordered the Datel Battery tool. Well once I recieved it I figured out to make the necessary files I needed XP. Well after a few days of research and failure I decided to set up a dual boot. My main OS is Vista Home Premium. When I set up the partitions the guides said that XP takes up around 1.5 GB. Well for some reason it took 4. So now I have a XP and Vista dual boot. The problem? Well I have no room to install apps on XP. I have 700 megs to work with. I can't seem to get any partitioning methods to work (Vista's built in software, and Command prompt are what I've tried). So right now I have 2 physical hdd's and a partition. The second hdd is what i would like to use to add space to the partition, as it has 80 GB of free space. So if anyone could help me that would be great. Oh and one more thing. Can I Itunes from Vista to interact with it on XP so I can update my IPod no matter what OS is booted..
Thanks guys (and girls)

Can't you re-partition your hdd(s) to add more space to xp?

Do you mean resize?
It wasn't letting me. To extend a partition is how you would resize right? I've tried all the guides I can find. The one on vistarewired.com didn't work. Noting on google works.
Oh and in your profile picture your psp has black waves. Where did you find them? Did you just change the 0-12.bmp?

If your gonna dual boot an OS,your better off to have a partition JUST for the second OS,and just install programs or whatever on the partition of the primary OS.

Thats just what I did anyway,it saves disk space so you dont need to install stuff twice. I would actually shrink that 80 gig partition to say...10 gig just for XP

Yes. As long as the files are SOMEWHERE, no matter what HDD they are on, as long as Windwos sees the folder that it's in, it can boot it.

Yea just make a short cut from your D: drive(or what ever you labeled it)

Find

D:\Users\***\Desktop

****= what your user name is...

Ex
C:\Users\vanden\Desktop

Make a sort cut on your Main desktop and that it...
