I've Had This Problem For A Couple Of Months Now. I Try Downloading New Programmes For Windows Xp ( Which I'm Using ) But A Few Of Them Say Stuff Like "You Need Windows XP Or Higher To Use This Programme" And That Stuff In General. It Also Says It On Websites As Well, Like When I Try To Download Programmes I Missed On iPlayer And 4oD, "Sorry, Windows Xp Is Required For This Download"
Basically, I Know I'm On Xp For Certain, But My Computer... Doesn't? I Also Think This Is Why I Have Update Problems Please Help ![]() Thanks In Advance. |

Are you using a cracked version of XP? That can cause that problem.
Try doing a recovery from a genuine Windows installation disk. Also why did you feel it nessacery to capitalize the first letter of every word?! Looks like something from a Mac commercial. |

OEM means it was installed by a manufacturer, it shouldn't have problems but you never know.
Did it come with a reinstall disc? Reinstalling XP might fix things. Just be sure to back up your files first though.
