I'm currently using a shared wifi connection on my laptop in my parent's house, the problem is that my parents somehow knows what sites I'm visiting. Privacy is a huge issue, My father is a somewhat computer freak and probably knows all kind of ways to see what I'm doing.

Is there a way to stop them from invading my privacy? And is it possible for me to do the same to them?

by viewing the router logs, it is easy to tell what sites are being visited. There is no way I can think of right now to avoid this.

I don't know why most of you don't want to reply back on the topic. This has nothing to do with "rules".

I would just like to have some privacy.

It's because if you are using their router then they can see what you are doing. You could turn the router logs off I guess - find out what router they use and google it for the IP to get into router config.

Or you could use a proxy.

If your dads half human he will understand ... your growing up and becoming interested in that kinda stuff :P

True... So if it's not porn, it's something illegal, and I'm wondering why we should even help this guy...
