Its a Toshiba Satellite P30....so i have couple of problems....
1.Laptop gets VERY hot after 4 min, battery is the hottest, you cant even like hold it but has no smoke or smell nothing........(dad says its normal) but i say its not cant be.....so i think that the latop is getting hot becasue me and my dad opened it all the way (took it apart all the way..) so the CPU and Heatsink got taken out too....and i dint put Thermal Grease.......lol i left it with the old one it had :smileytongue: so i think thats the "getting hot"/over heating problem.......
2.When i turn on the Laptop,it uses the battery as power.....even though the Power supply is connected :smileysad: (battery last like 20 min on 100% :smileysad: so i only have little time to do stuf)
3.We soldered the DC jack (i think he soldered it wrong)so i might just get a new one
the main one i want to solve is the battery working when the Power Supply is connected :smileysad: o and also the Power supply says
90W AC PowerAdapter
Input: 120-230V - 50/60Hz 2.5A
Main Output: 15V-24V 5.5A
PPS Output: 15V-24V 5W Max
Total Output: 90W
and the PC needs DC19V 6.3A..........and the battery...DC 14.8 6450mAh.....and the hotness is scaring me,seems like its gonna blow up
