So I recently bought this:
Which is basically a USB dongle with a s-video and audio port in the back, which then comes with a composite to s-video adaptor. I bought this to view and record what is displayed on my TV on my computer. So I have my TV, with a switch box going into one scart slot, and in the other scart slot I have a scart to 3 phono cable going into the VC100 U and into the computer. The thing worked fine for TV, but I also want it to work with my 360 to record my Halo 3 videos to my computer. So I changed my TV channel to the scart switchbox and I could view my 360 - with no red colour, and I had to change the video standard on the software to NTSC for any picture to come up. So everything red appears a strange greenish, and it doesn't work with video standard PAL when it is a PAL tv and a PAL 360. I soon found out that the problem was that I had changed my 360 display to PAL-60, so I changed it to PAL-50, and colour was fixed... but I can't play Halo 3 on PAL-50, only PAL-60, which results in strange colours. Is there any workaround or any sort of program that can fix the problem of the dodgy colour?
Thanks very much.
