basically,if anyone here knows anything about this,I got 2 questions
1. Media Controls- My keyboard and most others can control media with volume and playback keys, and they work with most programs. How do I program my HID profile to use these keys?
I tried using this PDF-
but the key code for the volume control dosent work. The codes seem to match up for things that do work tho.
Right now I got it rigged to control a program I downloaded (called Sound Volume Hotkey or something like that),basically it lets you use Windows Key + Up/Down to control volume in windows itself. I setup my bluetooth HID profile to do this. However, you cant do this in the SE's Remote control editor,I hex edited mine. Basically, the keyboard modifer for Shift is "20" [well, its "2" plus the null "0" since its only using 1 key modifer],the Windows key is "80",so that was an easy edit. I dont like this, however, since I have to be running the program (tho small),for it to work.
2. Using a standard Cell phone keypad as a keyboard. Basically,im looking for a program that I could use to type on my computer (not very useful, but I just want to play with it,if it exists),that probably runs in the backround, that interprets button inputs from my phone as letters and numbers, like hitting "1" once gives me "A",hit it twice "B",etc etc.
It all boils down to me being lazy and want to fully utilize my phone as a remote control for my computer. These arent big issues, since I got my HID profile setup for WMP itself, tho it dosent use the generic inputs like media keyboards use. Also of course, keyboard input via cellphone would be too slow to be really practical.
