Flashget + Fast Internet + Rapidshare?

I recently got rapidshare and apparently all files I download with flashget with it are corrupted. Is there any fix for this? they do download fully they're just corrupted

Whenever I use a download manager and it turns up corrupted, it turns out that the download just timed out, dunno if that's your case tho.

I'm sure this is not the problem because 8 parts of this file does download fully, each at 100 MB, but they are corrupted


There was anther download from rapidshare that included PAR2 files downloaded separately which fix corruption, and those worked, but only for the files they were supposed to work for

So therefore I conclude it is a corruption problem. I'm not planning on switching download managers, but now my premium info is in flashget.

Note: I did sensor the folder/filename in the above

Its not the RAR files themselves, and I've downloaded about 20+ times from other RS mirrors (not the same files and i know this because some have password and some don't). I also have the same problem downloading different files with different amounts of parts. Only rapidshare gives me trouble.

EDIT: FLashget even crashes sometimes while trying to download from rapidshare...

It could just be the files you just downloaded.
Personally, I tried FlashGet about a year ago and couldn't get it working the way I wanted, so I just switched to IDM and haven't had a problem since.

Firefox + Flashgot plugin + Orbit Downloader + Rapidshare = NO PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER.

seriously orbit downloader works a treat for me, has worked great for the year. downloads from rapidshare with no hassles. you dont even have to type in your RS login information.

i think your problem is the you are downloading are just corrupt.

wow so much stuff, all you need is rapget, i use it ALL the time to dl hella rapidshare files at a time, and never corrupted any files

I tried using different download managers such as DownThemAll!, but with no success. And its not about the files I'm downloading because I have sites and sites full of different content with different amounts of parts and different mirrors to show that with any download manager I have installed, rapidshare RAR files give me corrupt errors while megaupload RAR files don't. Its not Flashget's fault I know now.

If you use DownThemAll then set the chunks per download to 1 then it'll work. Otherwise as per previous suggestions, try Rapget. Works a treat.

Orbit Downloader is packed full of spyware, btw.
