Default [HELP] Boot issue

Could someone please help me. I'm currently having problems booting my PC. The PC freezes at the BIOS no access to BIOS options or changing the boot device or anything. This has occured 6 times so far and generally I just have to unplug my 20GB IDE hard drive and DVD Burner and put them back in. This has fixed it on times 1, 2, 4 and 5. On times 3 and 6 I have just left it alone for a couple of hours and then it boots into the operating system fine. I have tried replugging in almost every single piece of hardware, reflashing the BIOS with the 1.20 BIOS upgrade for my BIOS and reset the CMOS settings. This issue is really annoying me as I can't think of anything that would really cause my computer to act like this. When the computer is having these issues the keyboard also does not work, hence part of the reason why I can't access the BIOS settings. The BIOS freezes after displaying what drives are plugged into my computer but before showing the more detailed information about them. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated, my system details are:

Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP SP2 (32-bit)
RAM: 2GB DDRII
Motherboard: ASRock 4CoreDual-VSTA (just over 1 year old)
DVD-RW writemaster
Maxtor 20GB IDE Hard Drive
Seagate 160GB SATA Hard Drive
Radeon X300 Series PCI Express Graphics Card
Intel Pentium 4 3.00GHz Processor

Also I have another issue with my Mac OS 9.1 system, I don't know much about it and I got it from a friend a while ago who got it from a school and the admin accounts have passwords on them so I am stuck running on a limited account, does anyone know how to gain access to an admin account. I don't have any Mac OS install discs.

find your bios reset pins and short them...

did you do anythign recently like install a program, uninstall a program add new hardware that may have caused this?

if i were you reset the pins then get into safe mode, and then revert to an older version of your comp with system restore to when these probs didnt occur

if that doesn't fix it, it is probably hardware malfunction

I have tried shorting the pins, no success, also the problem isn't actually with windows I just put it in this sub-forum because I couldn't think of where else I should but it, when the system boots up the computer freezes at the BIOS screen which lists the devices, says press F2 to enter settings etc. The keyboard itself doesn't actually work either, when no drives are in the system it goes past this screen but the keyboard still doesn't work, I have recently installed the 2GB of RAM DDRII RAM tried reverting back to my 512MB of RAM with no success. The problem also only happens every so often recently it has been allowing me to use the computer one day but the next day it doesn't work.

you may have to do a reflash of the BIOS.

Yeah I've tried reflashing the BIOS it doesn't work, at the momment I haven't been able to use it for a few days, I think I'm going to have to buy a new motherboard, thanks for all your help though.
