This is my second application release it is in VB .NET (yeah I know noob language) and is called Keyfinder .NET. Anyway I have spent quite a deal of time writing this application and adding all the features. Currently the product can retrieve registration information for over 800 products and supports adding products through external databases in the layout explained in the documentation. The license provided with the zip file expires on 14/11/2008. However the 'QJ .NET.license' file will prevent the application expiring. To unlock the full version replace the 'License.license' in the zip file with the 'QJ .NET.license' file in the post.

i think its a serial key database. therefor. illegal. (well... not in canada where i live. ut in the US, and europe.

I think he means this reads the the key from items your currently have installed.
The external bit is that you can add other programs by creating a file and it will work from that.

THIS APPLICATION IS NOT TO BE USED FOR PIRACY. Furthermore it contains no actual serial numbers, copyright code (eg. Code for patching an executable), key generation algorithms or anything like that. It simply retrieves the product keys (serial numbers) from the system registry and presents them to you for backup. This is just like many other legal programs available. Also the QJ .NET.license file is not illegal, however it would be illegal if I did not generate this license, but considering I generated this license it is perfectly legal. Me being the author of this software. I do not condone piracy of any sort however I do believe that if you have legally purchased something you should be entitled to use the product in any manner you wish as long as it does not fuel piracy. I feel that as long this topic focuses on the improvement of the software than it should be alright.
