I installed a wireless network card on to my computer a year or two ago.
A couple of days back I restored my computer to factory default and now my wi-fi card doesn't work, on device manager it comes up as 'Network Controller' and ith a question mark. The thing is I can't find the cd with the drivers and nor do i remember the name of the network card i installed. How would i find out which card i have installed? Thanks

I know in Linux there is a way to probe the specifications of hardware. Not sure if there is a Windows equivalent.

go to one of those driver download websites or you could just download something like everest and see what model it is and then download the driver.
