firefox + update + problems= help plz
ok so yesterday i noticed that my ad block for firefox 2.0.X (i dont remember) was not working, it was showing ads (which i hate). so i went to my ad ons to see if something changed, nothing had, it was not disabled or anything. But normaly a picture would be next to the name of the addon. This time there was nothing. (i tried to uninstall it, but the broswer froze)
Other problems:
-would not remember websites in adressbar (i dont like using favroites)
-it started to forget passwords (like for myspace)
-just little weird things.
then i found out none of my addons worked! Then about and hour later trying to figuar out the problem firefox asked me to update to 3.0.5, so i did. Now i tryed out the firefox3 and guess what? The addons didnt work and they froze if i tried to disable, uninstall, etc. (i dont like how firefox 3 looks too)
then i uninstalled firefox3 and went back to firefox2. still no addons work and now the most websites jump, up and down. kinda like they are twitching... i dont really know.
so im going to delete everything.... but iv tried that before, but i dont know were the addons are kept since i think thats part of the problem.
so has anyone ever had these problems?
