I don't see the point in using a torrent. The HTTP download goes quite fast. For me it only took about 20 minutes.

Same 2 hours with only 4 connections, was fine considering the same size file would take longer through P2P apps

yeah but you gotta get used to it when the real one comes and you want to pirate it.

True but then there are more people who are willing to torrent the final release than the beta's so there wil bemore peers for the final compared to the beta's and that was a hell of a lot to begin with

I need some help installing windows 7 beta, I have never installed an opertaing system on another computer...I have a simple question.
If the computer im installing windows 7 on is running vista would I still have to format my hdd? or can I just pop in the dvd and boot it? and another question is would I be able to install windows 7 beta on another partition and how would I split my harddrive into 2 partitions?
