Default Limewire has a mind of it's own.

Everytime I start my computer, Limewire starts up. I don't have it set to startup or anything like that. Looked in msconfig and it's not there. That's not the bad part though. When I exit it, it starts back up a few seconds later. It usually does this over a dozen times. It starts up, I exit it, it starts up again. Then all of a sudden, it stops happening. Anyone else have this problem, or do I have to perform an exorcism on my new computer?

I just said that I already checked to see that was checked. It wasn't. Limewire just starts on its own.

Try Startup Control Panel by Mike Lin. It's free and shows more than msconfig.

I left my computer on all night, and I just came back to it to find that I had a few hundred Limewires up. This is getting ridiculous.

Try this:
1. Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete
2. Go to processes
3. Right-click limewire
4. "end process tree"

Tried that, and for some reason, Ctrl+Alt+Delete doesn't work. Now I'm thinking I should reformat my computer.
