Well are you using it as master? Anyway, you have to mess with your BIOS settings, there's also a limit at around 120 gig - for me as master and slave it showed y hole hard drive but for the others it only showed the 32 limit, try messing with the setting its on if you can or look up how to bypass the Phoenix BIOS crap

Ya there should be another slave setting, try switching it to that. Otherwise I think if it's a Maxtor like most people get these days you can put in teh CD or download the software and in there I think it tells you how to turn off the limit ****.

You shouldn't need to do anything. I try to make my HDDs masters for everything, and make CD drives slaves. Right now, I have 2 HDDs, a CDRW and a DVD drive. I have both HDDs masters and both CD drives slaves. Move the jumper to master, and plug it into the secondary IDE port on your motherboard. Then, in Windows XP, go to your disk manager and format the new drive. You should be able to get close to 200GB.
