Default DvD ripping to avi?

Can anyone be so kind as to direct me to a tutorial for ripping DvD to vob files and converting them to avi? Thanks, appreciated.

I will give you a quick guide.

Use dvd decrypter and get the vob files form the dvd.

Next use a modified version of virtualdub that can open vob files, and then save it as an avi.

videohelp.com will be able to get you more detailed help. There are many methods to doing thigs, that is just my method.
