Default DivX/XviD on Quicktime 7 Pro

As you all have probably heard, Apple has announced the 5G iPods with video playback. I have one preordered, but in the meantime, I am transcoding all of my videos to the iPod format in Quicktime 7 Pro. I have a lot of DivX/XviD videos in my archive, so I was wondering if there was a way to open and view them in Quicktime 7 Pro. I have tried 3vix (3vix.com) and all I can get is the video to work, no audio. Please help, or my iPod may never see the likes of Family Guy or The Office .

first: there are no, as i know of 5gig videos. i just bought a 60, but theres also a 30. try mytoo. it converts most types of .avi (including that pesky divx) into custom mpg4 video. just be sure to type 480X480 in the size box. look at my post please. i am doing the same but have had problems. so if you get this far, you can look at my thred for more help if you need it.
