Post here if u hate Windows. Linux and Mac users unite! I am tired of everything being made for Windows. Linux and Mac are starting to get more support, but certainly not as much as they should. Also, all my teachers tell me to use Word or Excel for a project, and im just thinking, I DONT USE WINDOWS. W/e, come rant about Windows or talk about how good Mac/Linux are, and what your favorite Linux distro is!

Dont hate windows, but like linux. Slackware or gentoo.

and just use openoffice if you need to have something in word or excel format. its not that difficult.

I dont hate windows but I have to use all the time and I don't know how to operate Linux and Macs and definatly NOT Unix! But I would like to learn how to get OS X on my PC without going out and spending thousands of dollars for something I already have but it runs differently (I don't have enough money to go out and buy a Mac so thats why I want to get it to run on my PC)

PS: Microsoft makes Office for Macs

Fedora core all the way with a little wine for the occasional windows apps.

I've never had any problems with Windows, and I've used both Mac OS and Linux

Well, I'm not really "Anti-Windows"... But, I am enjoying the Ubuntu Linux distrabution very much... Very nice and clean... I'm not tottaly used to it yet, but it's very nice...

But yeah i agree with you, Windows is LAME, too many problems to list.
Also M$ are turing into George Orwells Big Brother [Internet Explorer 7 & undoubtably VISTA]

Im installing Linux soon to see what all the fuss is about.

Also the MACOSX on pc thing, I think an app called object dock gives you a macosx style windows theme;

Actually, I think I like macs more, but it's just the compatibility issue

There are still a lot of applications that only work for windows

If MacOS X had the same of comprable software support I doubt anyone would be using windows...

I hate MAC because it's skin is a different color than Windows,

Oh, and aside from that, its DIFFERENT and nothing is compatiable with it.
Don't get me wrong, I emjoyed the simplicity (used one of the mac osx laptops all last year), but....
well...
they just can't win

Tell me about your Linux experience; also, I don't want to use windows I want to RUN Mac OSX I don't want just a skin (Me personally I just use "Windows Classic Theme" because I'm too used to it
