Lightbulb I need help!

I am having a problem with my computer.

From time to time, my monitor stops responding (goes black), then my computer crashes. I got a blue screen the other day too. I heard that my motherboard may be incompatible with my video card. So, what do you think?

My Video Card: ATI Radeon 9800PRO 128MB AGPx8
My Motherboard: ASROCK PV488 Motherboard

Does anybody know what it could be?
Any suggestions could help a lot.

Did your graphics card come with a Driver CD, and did you install those? Other wise I have no idea.

Incase you get the blue screen again do this:

Right Click My Computer > Properties > Advanced > Startup and Recovery > Settings > Untick automaticlly restart.

Then note down what the error is and tell us what it says, will give me more of an idea whats wrong.
