Hello, everyone. I'm trying to get a new computer, because this Dell sucks balls.

Just to let you know, I have the following I'm going to salvage from this P.O.S. dell to this new comp.

ATi Radeon 9800 AIW Pro
120 GB Hard Drive.
CD-RW drive 52/43/52 (I think)
DVD-ROM drive 4 speed.
Probably the 512 stick of RAM.
Keyboard and Mouse.

Gir I know what you mean, but! I order the stuff from them and use my own stuff sell what I dont need seriously great deals there

dude, get an nVidia card. ati is worse in performance (its a fact). Secondly, newegg's cool, i buy from them. and get an AMD cpu.

OK, first off, I'm not spending another 400 dollars to get another video card. This one is fine.

Second, ATi updates their drivers more often than Nvidia does.

Third, Nivida is the Intel of Video Cards, and ATi is the AMD of video cards.

Now that my friend, is a fact of life.

Also, ATi makes more cards than Nvidia, to offer a more verity of different cards.

i think u have it the other way around, amd is for nvidia and ati for intel where in the hell did u draw the conclusion that amd is to ati and intel is to nvidia? amd is for nvidia because most boads nvidia has doesnt have compatibility problems with amd boards. ati is with intel because it works well with intel based boards.also nvidia cards have more advanced graphics engine then the ati.they are also more power efficent then the ati cards. just because they dont release updates more often then ati doesnt mean they suck. besides 9800 aiw is outdated at least get a pcie board if ur gonna upgrade cuz agp isnt gonna last long. recommend a 6600 series from nvidia. that is if u GAME but if u dont u can strap a ati7000 for all anyone cares

i dont know i like nVidia better. but nVidia and ATI are both just as good its just nVidia is usually better for mid to low end cards which is what i get
also i think nVidia is usually cheaper.

and a 256mb 6600 goes for about $97 on newegg

The ATi cards got the most FPS, than the Nvidia cards did.

Most of the games they showed were mainly designed for Nvidia cards.

They only game made for an ATi, which is the best game ever made, was HL2.

Now. I've proven the fact that ATi is better than Nvidia, and that Nvidia never updates their drivers.

Let me put this in plain English, and I will also translate it into several different languages, too.

Now that I've shown that I could care less what you think about my video card, can you PLEASE tell me if the new system specs (quote it -- NEW) would be good, or not.

I'm mainly looking at the case, since they don't have such a wide array of cases available at Newegg.

I made a new list from TigerDirect, because NewEgg offer crappy products.

They only offer 1gighrz max on their processors.

Is building a computer hard? I mean i know lots about computer but the only thing I never tried was building acomputer hmmmm.... maybe i should try taking apart my old one and putting it back together. I think dells are pretty good.

Heh, that's funny, I've never had a single problem with Nvidia... Half-Life 2 runs great for me... I think that's more opinion than actual "fact"...

Try setting 8X Anti-Alias, 1280X790, and all the others at High.

Then see how well it runs, Mr. Nividia.

Also, buying the parts for your computer offers a more wide array of components.

You're not limited to Dell's ****ty parts.

god i already showed you in a proven test that they are equal. but nVidia is better for low to mid and even in high-end because they have SLI. plus they're cheaper. and the drivers work fine so they dont HAVE to update them, and newegg is awesome. and i dont even see your specs

and you cant really use Half Life 2 as a benchmark. its a great game, with great graphics, but i get 35 fps at 1024x768 at High texture on my Ati 7500 mobile 32mb.
