I just recently "aquired" photoshop after all these "make me a sig" threads started popping up and have been messing around with it for about 3 days now.

My friend saw this other really quick first attempt I made and he said it was good enough for him and asked me to make him a sig.

This is my first picture sig I've ever made and I know it has flaws, but thats why I'm posting

. This is my first one and I'm not really too happy with it. I can't put my finger on it, but something about it doesn't seem right. Hopefully some of you photoshop experts here will be able to help me out with this and spot whats wrong. Anyway, thanks for viewing.

This one took me about 2 hours (I'm new

) and it is finally finished.

That second one is seriously better than most of mine now and I've been learning how to this for a year, but at least I admit it.

Wow thanks for the compliments everyone, it inspires me to keep going and keep practicing.

As for "have I been using programs like photoshop before?" Well, if mspaint counts :icon_wink

Very good for your first sig.

This is my first sig (not done in photoshop, just paint)

And here's my first one done in Photoshop.

I can't put my finger on what's wrong with yours though..

Thanks for looking and complimenting my sigs. That one you did in paint is really good considering its paint.

As for my first sig I made, I gave up on trying to put my finger on whats wrong with it :icon_wink

I try but all I can really do is what I read in tutorials. I want to know how to make those awesome backgrounds and effects like the ones I see in you're signature pictures. Like these ones.

Adobe ImageReady CS2, and the thing coming out of his hands is like a steamin ice blast thing, you know, those things sub-zero uses, its steaming because its so cold
