Default Snes9x for PC Full Screen Problem

I've been playing the snes9x emulator for PC for a year or two now and it works great and all but I've always wanted to find out how to play it fullscreen with perfect resolution. Why is the emulators normal screen resolution around 200x150 or something, and how come as far as I know, it can't be full screen without looking choppy or like crap. The only time the pixels resolution is perfect,or like as if you were playing it on the actual system on your own TV set, is in the normal 200x150-ish resolution it has set when you first play it. I've been using opengl Bump Map so I can stretch it's size to my liking but ofcourse in doing so the pixels become bigger and it loses its regular resolution. If anyone knows how to make it fullscreen with it's original perfect resolution or why most console emulators only run it at perfect resolution in a small window size even though the system itself can more or less play on any screen and keep its original quality , It'd be great to know. Thanks.
