Default Video RAM help!

Alright here is my other problem, my (very stupid) computer is confused about how much video ram it has. So, when I go into the display properties, it says I have 32mb. But when I try to run Halo Trial...it says I only have 8mb. But, just to add iceing to the cake, when I run the J-Sig app...it says that I have 64mb of video ram! My computer is an eMachines T1360, with the Intel 82810e (reffered to as just 810e) I kinda need help. thanx.

Get a better graphics card. Intel onboard is just horrible. Even if you get a cheap AGP or even PCI card, its going to be an upgrade from what you are using now.

ok, idont know what kind of gfx card ure usin

but if its a onboard video, then it leaches off of ure pc's ram, so the size depends, and cant be read at a constant rate.

u can get gfx cards for 50$ if u watch ads

good luck

It's because you have integrated graphics controll, it tries to share normal ram with vram, it's very complicated and stupid and useless, just go buy a good old PCI graphics card if you can't use AGP or PCI-E

I have 2 other computers with AGP slots, but I'm too lazy to go set them up with new hard drives and stuff...Also, what card (specifically) do you guys recommend? (for the AGP slot) It HAS to have AT LEAST 32mb of vram on it though...and how much does it cost? because I don't have much money at all. Also, thanx for your guys help...now I kno I only have 8mb of vram (not this FAKE vram amount...)

EDIT: ☻☺☻☺☻☺☻☺☻☺☻☺☻☺☻☺☻☺☻☺☻☺☻☺☻ ☺
"Arial" or "Times New Roman" font "size 5" (go to the character map and find these, ^^^ copy, paste, put the [size] tags around them, post it!
