Default Urgent Computer Problems

A friend of mine has an old dell. Whenever you boot it, no matter if you boot normally, in safe mode, or from the last known working mode, it just restarts after the Windows XP logo. His friend broke it. He claims he highlighted all the icons and pressed ALT + F4. Reformatting is NOT an option. His mom has lots of important things on it, and he has no XP cd. Can someone help?

System Specs (all that I know about the PC)

495MHz
128MB Ram

(lol)

XP + 495MHz = Bad News from the start.

If he cannot do a System Restore, I can let it slide, email me and I'll be able to prepare you with a Windows XP CD.

Theres a legal download link. If you just email me.

MODS: I said LEGAL DOWNLOAD link... Don't add an i to it
