My HP laptop is only a month old, and I have had SOO many problems. My wireless internet and sound card drivers got corrupt, AND it keeps overheating. I am re-installing XP now.... It took about an hour, because for some reason the CD wouldn't boot. Hopefully, now the sound will work. If not, I'm sending this peice of **** to HP.

I should have taken back my computer the first day I got it. When I tried to watch a DVD, it froze up and gave me an error message saying I needed to get new drivers. So I waited until after my warantee ran out to get around to downloading the drivers. Upon doing this, I disovered the drivers were not compatible with my computer.
It wont play DVDs (even though it's supposed to) and it won't play games that it is equipped well enough to play without screwing something up (replacing all textures in city of heroes with blackness, turning walls in Halo for PC into orange barcode)
I hate my peice of crap computer and it knows.

Feel the warmth huh hp. I like my hp but i want alienware wouldnt that be pimpshiz.

Theyre all the same. Stuff some parts in a confined space try to keep it cool. very few companies do it well.
