Default access is denied!

ok, my problem started when i connected to punkbuster enabled servers in BF2 and got kicked for "inacurate OS privelages." this error is given when you dont run battlefield in the admin account of windows. soon, i noticed that windows would give me "the operation could not be completed : access is denied" error when trying to do things like end the "ipodservice.exe" itunes process or install xvid codecs. i have a feeling that all of this is connected but its really confusing me since the only user for my computer is the admin. any help would be awesome

I used to have this problem with R6: Raven Shield. This link will solve the problem. http://www.punksbusted.com/forums/in...?showtopic=153

You may think that you have the only user account on your computer, but you don't. When you first startup windows is creates a hidden admin account that can only be accessed in safe mode. To get into safe mode restart your computer and keep hitting f5. A list will appear, select safe mode ffrom the list. A whole string of code will appear, don't worry this is normal. You will then get to the logon screen, and you'll see your account, and an account call Administrator. You can login as this account and change your acconts privelages. Click the picture at the top of the start menu and figure it out from there. I hope this isn't too confusing, but then again windows is so confusing
