im just starting to lk skin and theme my computer, and a few weeks ago, my logon screen isnt lk normal, it is all black and says push ctrl alt delete to start windows and stuff like that, no matter what program i use to try and change it, it stays the same!! help ME!!

how seriouse is it?
hmm.....go to start, programs, accesories, system tools, system restore. go back to a date b4 u installed the login or whatever.

You probably downloaded a corrupt skin. There are other ways to fix it, but system restore is the easiest. BTW, are you doing this through something like windows blinds, or have you patched your uxtheme.dll?

didnt freaking work, i did system restore back TWO months, and was still the same, this only happened 3 weeks ago WTF??
here is wat it looks like here is wat i see after my bootscreen ![]() and after i press ctrl + alt + delete ![]() then i log on I FREAKING HATE THIS!!! |

Did u ever mess with the login screen?
That happened to me before and i just changed the login screen back to normal, i used logon studio.

# Click the Start button in the lower left corner of the screen # Select Settings, then Control Panel # Click the Network icon # In the default screen, which shows the Configuration tab on top, find the box with the title Primary Network Logon # Pull down the menu and select Windows Logon # Click OK # Restart Windows the bolded one is giving me the most trouble because i dont know what it is talking about Last edited by Big_Boss819; 02-22-2006 at 02:58 PM.. |
