can anyone help me? whenever i startup my computer, it hangs at the loading screen. ive tried safe mode, vga mode, and all those other modes but it still hangs and wont let me through. does anyone know what is happening and what i can do to fix it?

put your windows install disk in.... hit enter to reinstall windows.... when it asks for what partition... hit R and it will repair it

my computer didnt come with a xp cd. do u know if i can download it from anywhere?

i dont think it it the ram b/c i have 1gb of ram

Just borrow an xp cd off a friend. It's not illegal as long as you only repair your Windows partition.
