I have been doing some research, and i want to set up a wireless network at home. I have a computer on my floor and one upstairs and want both of them to have internet. So i will buy a wireless router, and a wirless card. Only one problem, i dont have a PCI slot on my computer, or a usb drive. What do i need to buy, or install or whatever in order to get the wireless card working? And can you please give me links to which sites i can gather the things...
Thnx

Im not even going to ask how you dont have at least one pci or usb slot. Anyway if either of the comps have usb, then have that one go wireless. and just connect the one that doesnt have anything free (still wondering how this is) directly to the router.

Which one's which?
Like the 1st floor desktop 2nd floor laptop? Unless we have more specific information, don't think can able to help much. If its a desktop, and have an open PCI slot, or even an ISA slot, there's always a PCI to PCMCIA converter cards, or ISA to PCMCIA converter cards, the problem is might have to look around for one. If its a laptop, does it have a Comm port? Guessing, a computer without a USB,... Win95 or even 3.1 computer?
