Default Can i.....

I'm home sick, and my dad doesn't want me on my computer, so he stole the freaking power cord. I'm on his comp now , but i can't play Guild Wars on it.

And what sucks even more is that a have a major stomach ache, and if i'm not doing something, then my body focuses in on it, and it hurts like twice as much.

So what i'm wondering is could i use the power cord of my dad's comp on my comp if it fits, or can i use the powercord of my hp printer if that fits?

yep tou could use the cord from your dads comp.

Yeah, your dad's PC's power cord will fit I think.

And i really don't advise using power cords from something that isn't a PC. It can blow up your PC, actually.

Really? You sure that it won't get messed up because of different voltages?

There should be power specs on the back of the PC and the printer. Make sure they match up before trying anything.

yep, it depends how old it is,
the standered mordern power cable will do it.
It would be the power supply that would cause the pc breaking

Thanks guys. I plugged in my dad's cord and it's working now.

Hopefully nothing will go wrong.
