1. If you're on a laptop, you're probably clicking the Home button by accident when you tpe.
2. That's Firefox...it screws up like that, also with apostraphes sometimes.
3. Weird...

If you're on a laptop and the touchpad is activated, you may be accidentally hitting it with the palm of your hand which moves the mouse cursor and text cursor to a different position.

Let me guess....Windows XP, right?
Flatline and rebuild.
Never want to have this problem again? Switch to a Mac.

Number 3 could be some sort of screwed up setting, try looking in the folder options.

Not sure
The easiest way would be when you were viewing a folder, clicking tools>folder options, but since you can't view any folders... I don't know. Try getting to the folder options through the control panel.

I get the exact same problems, on both of my laptops(One is old and the other is a brand new one). I think its just something laptops do.

Sometimes when I click(Left click) on a folder it acts like I right clicked it? And when I hit the tab button to move from text box to text box it will minimize my windows and sh*t? WTF!

Ussually I can solve the problem by hitting Control alt and delete one time then hit cancel and everything will be back to normal. It is annoying though. But I've been using an external mouse on my new lappy and I havent notice any of these problems since.

I had this problem with opening my C:\ drive. GO to Control Panel>Folder Options>View tab ( if its not that, its a tab that shows all of the file types, maybe File Types tab :P) Anywho, there might be a Folder icon there. Click on it, click Edit, the choose New. Navigate to your Explorer.exe (I think its in C:\Windows or C:\Windows\System32), and set that option to default.
