Ill right click something on the bookmark tool bar, hit "Open in new tab" and nothing happens... this just started happening and is pissing me off. if i restart firefox itll work again but only for a little bit... but if i do manage to open a new tab nothing works. (Like ill open google but cant type or anything) itll only work if i click a link and it opens a new tab or if i right click a link and hit open in new tab.. help?

Smash your comp and post a video of it, that's the only way to fix it.

Try reinstalling firefox, also do you have any themes/extentions on firefox, if so try it without them.

Try unistalling all plugins, and get the newest one, but unistall AND delete the folder inbetween reinstall. The folder that I mean is:
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox

^^
Delete that one, I had to do that, and then it worked. But it won't work if you don't delete that folder.

Yep, sorry.

But that doesn't matter if you're unistalling.

But screenshot your extensions page, so that you know which ones you have, and you may want to backup your history and bookmarks.

I don't know, once my Windows crashed, and when I booted FF, none of my bookmarks/history worked. My extensions were still there, but like the mouse gestures had lost all gestures, and I couldn't add more. And the search bar had no search dealies in it.

Did you uninstall, delete folder, restart, then reinstall?
The 'restart' step helps a lot. At least from what I have experienced.
