Help Windows Problem!!!!

ok i was PSO and this happened

it crashed no big deal right?













but when i restarted THERE IS NO START BAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

back up everything and reinstall windows(formate) and you sould be fine or try System Restore

You explorer.exe crashed. Needs to be restarted. Supposed to do that automagically but...it's Windows after all.
CTRL-SHIFT-ESC and then RUN and browse to C:\WINDOWS and look in there and re-run it.

Logoff and log back in too...that should fix it.

CTRL-SHIFT-ESC should automatically bring up the Task Manager.
CTRL-ALT-DEL should popup the logoff menu which also allows one to run Task Manager, but my way is faster.

Is that a Vista Beta? If so, you're screwed.

did you try system restore?

edit: are you using like stylexp or anyother theme altering programs? if so then you need to revert the theme back to default

you can do that by right clicking on desktop and click properties, from there go to themes and restore back to default

Hmm, you are on Windows XP which means that bar at the bottom that imitates the OSX bar thing is probably RKLauncher or ObjectDock, I'm guessing ObjectDock due the to icon on display.
ObjectDock has an option to hide the start bar, right click the dock and disable the hiding of the start bar.

Just a guess, but maybe its a virus you accidentally downlaoded seeing those limewire icons....

just know that that takes a kinda alot of ram 50 mb and some cpu
