Just got around to reading the latest issue of TechNet Flash and it says that Microsoft Virtual PC 2004 is now FREE to download.
Also, it says the future Virtual PC 2007 will also be free with support for Windows Vista.

What pisses me off the most? The fact I paid $99 for VirtPC 2004 when it was first released a few years back.
Luckily it was for work so it was a good tax deduction.

HELL! I payed good money for that when it came out also. now I don't have a mac and two PC's so there's really no point. ah well

Yeah, I searched in here for 'virtual pc' and didn't find anything so I figured this might be new news and a boon for all those that want to SAFELY try out another OS.
I've successfully run OSX86 and several variants of Linux distros in VirtPC 2004.
Hmmmm...what I really want to know is: why isn't VirtPC 2004 for Mac also a free download?
Yeah, this is probably Microsoft's answer to Apple's BootCamp...let the virtualization wars begin!

Meh... i downloaded this a couple of days ago and it sucks compared to Vmware server edition.
