I am really screwed right now, because just a day ago, i decided to completely wipe out my hard drive and all my partitions (there was a D: and -: as well as the C: ).

Now however, my laptop (which i reinstalled Windows XP Home on), is acting like a DEsktop and looks ugly as hell (since the resolution isnt native and i dont have any notebook essential programs on it as well)

does anyone know where i ca buy this PC Restore by Symantec CD?

i am desperate

I really doubt that program will do you any good.

In the meantime, use this program to set a custom resolution. http://www.entechtaiwan.net/util/ps.shtm

by the way, i solved my problem

i love dell's customer support, its awesome (even though they have funny names like rupinder lol)
