Default Is it possible....

To delete the Recycle Bin from my desktop? I have no need for it showing up on my desktop, so does anyone know of a way to take it out? Thanks.

Right click -> Properties -> Desktop -> Customise desktop


Common, i dont even use windows!

actually, for me, there's no option to take out the recycle bin

No go....
I would really like to take it out. Right now im busy customizing my XP to its limits, and i have a better trashbin than the default, so i want to get rid of it.

I dont know how you found it, but it did the trick. Well, I had to download TweakUI, as my registry is heavily guarded, and not even overrriding and turning off all my protectors did it, but TwickUI removed the little *******, thanks to you.

i remember it used to be called the trash can, now were all recycle and reuse freaks
