Press start, then press run.
Type in cmd
Type in dxdiag

It's not the most detailed output but it's good enough I guess.

No, I'm against cluttering up this place more than it already is.
If it was really important then I'm sure it would have been put in place BEFORE the 'Space' section was.

I think Content Holdings sees that there are already PLENTY of PC gaming blogs and websites, so no need to throw up another that would just get drowned out in the 'noise'.

Thats a good idea. I might have to buy all new RAM depends if the new mobo (when I finally decide on one) is DDR2.

You might as well seeing as both AMD and Intel require DDR2 for their AM2 / Core2Duo processors.

Ever since those mean people in the MD Party Room wouldn't play UT with you because they were too busy playing the Halo Demo.

Agreed, I've seen PSPunk increase this lately and given his previous repeated severe warnings a nice 5 day ban is going to be given.

My "home" desktop isn't that great but gets the job done and is quite a well rounded machine:

Celeron D 2.8ghz
512MB RAM
Geforce 4 ti 4400
DVDRW
A puny 80GB hard drive

I'm off to Uni so a laptop is needed and have ordered a very nice durable HP business class notebook so that the thing lasts me the entire 4 years (if that's even possible):

HP NC8430
1.83ghz Core Duo
1GB DDR2 RAM
Mobility Radeon X1600
Dual Layer DVDRW
80GB HDD (I'm going to couple that with a nice, big external)
15.4" WXGA screen
Wifi, Bluetooth, fingerprint scanner
Windows XP Pro

Not bad at all and a bargain at £800 considering the build quality, components and the fact it was bundled with a free 3 year warranty (worth over £100), wireless mouse and some internet security software that I'll flog on Ebay. Its just been sent off today so I should have it Monday.

Lol actually this is kind of true. I sold my gaming comp to a friend and just built a cheap rig. UT2k4 was problably one of the only games i actively played. Maybe ill jump back in when 2k7 hits. I was thinking of building another base system and adding the graphics card when im ready to game again. Give this one to one of my brothers.
