Default Is there any free music mixing software out there?

Hi, I have been looking for a free music mixing 'studio' for a long whle but i can't find any, most are free for about 10 days and then you have to pay....Can someone think of any that are FREE?

ok...modplug is just too confusing and doesn't play the songs properly. any others?

Ejay is really simple and easy to use I dont know if its free though because i was given a cd for it.

if you learn mod plug im sure you can mix whatever you want in it. i have made music in it before but i have forgot everything.

I dont know if fruity loops is still free or not but I used that a couple of years ago when my bud and I were in to making tracks.

if you want a fruityloops-style mixer, i can't help.

but if you want a soundforge-style mixer, the Krystal or Audacity work really well. they are free. There is a neat-o sticky at the top of the forum called "free software list." The links are in there, i think.

Yea, audacity is a very good program for music mixing.
