Default Upgrading this PC for gaming - worth it?

http://www.amazon.com/Sony-PCV-V300G.../dp/B00029YYI8

It's an all-in-one PC, so unfortunately only the HDD, CPU & RAM are upgradable. No 3D card either, though the integrated chipset can handle older games like Warcraft 3 fine. But would upgrading the RAM & CPU make any difference, especially for newer games? Even if it doesn't, would I see any difference in it loading older games like Warcraft 3?

graphic cards are becoming more and more important as time goes on, so I'd say no. those are ok stats but the lack of AGP slot or PCI-Express kinda condems it's usefulness for gaming (I'm guessing there is no agp if the vid-card's built in?)

For gaming, useless without a graphics card.

Not all Intel processors are crap.

The Core 2 Duo range is probably the best right now.

How good is the Centrino Duo for a laptop compared to just the regular centrino? (Other than the fact that its 2 processors)

Intel processors, from what I have seen have proven to be rather decent. My laptop's Centrino 2.13 ghz processor is much faster than my Dad's desktop's AMD processor running at 2.0 ghz. The .13 ghz doesn't count, I tried rendering 3D models from Cinema 4D on both, mine did it more efficiently.

If you want a good gaming rig, get something with a decent processor, just go for the more recently released types, like Core Duo's, latest AMD's. But do not be a total noob and go for Celeron *shudders*.

Make sure you have one or two nice graphic cards, they are the meat of your gaming and also, if you are not worried about sound that much, a Realtek card will do fine, but if you are wanting EAX, go for a Creative card.

The centrinos were around the time when Intel started to get things right. They were very good in their own right. And yes, the centrino duos are very good too

They're the best you can buy and consume the least power as well. Try and look for Core 2 Duo (rather than the standard Core Duo) for a small performance boost and 64 bit processing.
