Default Microsoft Excel formula's

Can anyone teach me how to do these?? I need to know how to right formula's in excel at work to help with charts...

In the desired box just type in "=FORMULA" (without the quotes). An example of one is something like "=A1+A3" and the box will have the sum of boxes A1 and A3.
