Any time I put a CD into the drive it just closes for a second,then it pops out again.It even does it when there is no CD in there,what should I do??

it depends how good you are with computers. it could just be a problem with the ide cable having a bad connection. If you know your way around the inside of a pc: Turn off the pc. Open it up and unplug the cd drive. Blow out any dust around the connections. Plug it back in. Turn your pc back on and try again. If that doesn't work try plugging it in a different IDE connector. If that doesn't work try another IDE cable. If that doesn't work buy a new cd drive. If that doesn't work buy a new motherboard. If that doesn't work don't buy a dell. |
