It's a pretty nice PC.
I started with an Antec Ultra case.
It came with a 550-watt power supply.
That was pretty cool.
I found a nice motherboard, the ASUS P5W DH Deluxe. It's ATi Crossfire ready with the XPRESS 3200 chipset. Something else cool about the board, it comes with a Wi-fi antenna. So, since I don't have a wireless hub, my PC now just re-broadcasts my Cable internet. And just some icing they threw in, an iR remote and reciever. One last thing about this board, it supports 65nm process chips.
But then this board is Intel based! I was like "Oh noes..." because I'm really a big fan of AMD. My last two rigs had consited of top end AMD chips and ATi graphics cards. But I guess putting brand loyalty before value is dumb. So I got an Intel Core 2 Duo. 3.0 Ghz. The heatsink looks like a turbine, but it doesn't need to; the chip hasn't gone above 33 degrees celcius since I got it.
Okay the RAM's nothing fantastic, I could only get 2 Gigs of OCz dual-channel DDR2 PC6400.
I got an ATi Radeon X1900 XTX. It's smokin'. I was playing Oblivion maxed out on video all afternoon.
I have another one on the way that's cross-fire enabled, that'll be sweet too.
I probably left some **** out, but anyway this thing is like a new car. I'm totally psyched.
Don't bother asking how much it cost.
